During Mum's recent visit to Australia, we did a fair bit of traveling. In her 5 weeks stay here, I think we did more than 5000 km around Victoria and New South Wales. A graphical representation of the places we went to: I know the map above can be customized with Google map, but I don't know how, dammit! Techonolgy, sigh... Some of our highlights: 1. Saw most of Victoria's attractions. 2. Went from oh, total driving mileage in Melbourne = 5 km to scoring a massive 900 kms during our drive up to Sydney. It was fantastic because I've never done it before, we've pushed ourselves to drive overnight after a day of work and there's just something magical being on the road in a tiny 2-door Ford at 3 am. 3. Went to Dimboola, which is a small small country town, (population: 1700) from which Sonya hails from. A blog, I suppose is a space for the expression of one's thoughts, no matter how obnoxious or self-indulgent. I will attempt to organize and limit this blog to more interesting travel stories, art critiques, book reviews, opinion pieces on people, politics and society in general. Wait, doesn't that sum up as "Another Blog By Another Obnoxious, Self-Indulgent Person With A Supposed Opinion on Everything"?
